Eddie Coleman

I have always been passionate about photography and studied Photojournalism at university. I tend to focus more on travel photography and landscapes, and enjoy the rewards which composition, colour, patience, light, and timing provide. I was fortunate to have had a 30-day solo photography exhibition at a café in Tokyo a number of years ago when I was living there. I look forward to interacting with a host of different people in the upcoming Porterville Art for All weekend.

Lisa Stokes

I am a mostly self-taught artist who uses art as a way to process, reflect, and connect. It’s my outlet for self-expression—a space where emotion, thought, and mood take visual form. My work blends elements of realism and abstraction, often leaning into surrealism. Each piece aims to capture something deeply personal, yet open to interpretation. As I continue to grow, I’m always experimenting with new techniques and pushing the boundaries of what feels creatively possible. For me, art is a constant evolution—an ongoing journey of discovery.

Reaan Fourie

Ever since I got my first camera in my teens, I was totally hooked on photography. Over the years, my predilection for landscape photography
grew into getting more up close and personal to my subject, straying into the abstract realm. I like to frame my experience of what I see such that I give the viewer a new perspective on something that they otherwise might have overlooked. With my background in linguistics and language practice
necessitating an eye for detail, it also plays a role in the often ambiguous and metaphorical titles given to my work, encapsulating the essence of my artist’s eye.

Sonja Denton

I am still new in Porterville. I have some time on hand to paint again; and hoping it will bring some colour into someone else’s life.
